Cyber Security Professional Services / Managed Services Sales Executive

Location: Santa Clara, San Jose or Vicinity
Compensation: $200,000 On Target Earnings, No Earnings Cap
Education: BA/BS Appreciated

The Opportunity has been engaged by a global Information Security Consulting / Managed Security Services client to identify and recruit sales talent for an expansion role in Northern California. Our client is established, growing and backed by a very strong financial partner.  Our client is currently building a Security Operations Center (SOC) in the US.

This role requires a sales professional who is currently selling or who has previously sold IT or Information Security professional services, systems integration or managed services.  In this case, the sales professional chosen will be selling a mix of information security professional services and managed security services.

The sales executive will achieve maximum sales growth, profitability and client development within an assigned territory.  He/she will establish, develop and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective customers.  He/she will work closely with a Sales Director to manage a territory and account plans in their region.

The sales executive will develop clear and effective quotations / proposals, maintain data on customer calls, provide semi-monthly pipeline updates and coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. He/she will arrange product and service demonstrations; keep abreast of information security services, technology applications and potential for new products / services. 

The sales executive will participate in trade shows. 

  • A BA/BS degree is appreciated
  • Candidates will demonstrate 5 or more years of experience selling professional services, managed services or systems integration services.
  • Demonstrate Ability to manage customer expectations throughout a complex sales and delivery process.
  • Strong preference will be given to candidates who have sold in the information security domain.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives.
  • Show an ability to consult with customers at a business level, translating and communicating strategic opportunities into requirements.
