Security Training and Certifications at SecurityRecruiter.com

Why Security Certification Matters

SecurityRecruiter.com is in the people business.  When companies come to us asking us to perform security recruiting assignments for them, they give us laundry lists of expectations that include technical security skills, business skills, expected education, expected certifications, etc.

The top security professionals carefully plan their career moves.  They methodically pick up the right educational credentials.  They also pick up certifications that will make them stand out from their peers.

The more carefully a security professional plans their education and certification acquisition, the more attractive they can be at the time when we have Security Director, CISO or CSO searches on our desks.

Even the most technically challenging cyber security / information security searches that land on our desks typically require some level of deeply technical certifications.

We've partnered with some of the industry's leading organizations to bring you their security education, security training and security certification offerings.

The E|NSA program is designed to provide fundamental skills needed to analyze the internal and external security threats against a network, and to develop security policies that will protect an organization’s information. Students will learn how to evaluate network and Internet security issues and design, and how to implement successful security policies and firewall strategies. In addition, they will learn how to expose system and network vulnerabilities and defend against them.

Ethical Hacking:  Certified Ethical Hacker through iClass is EC-Council’s official C|EH Class preparing students to challenge the Certified Ethical Hacker Certification Exam 312-50. The C|EH Program certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Ethical Hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective. The Certified Ethical Hacker certification will fortify the application knowledge of security officers, auditors, security professionals, site administrators, and anyone who is concerned about the integrity of the network infrastructure.

C|HFI investigators can draw on an array of methods for discovering data that resides in a computer system, or recovering deleted, encrypted, or damaged file information. The C|HFI course will provide participants the necessary skills to identify an intruder’s footprints and to properly gather the necessary evidence to prosecute in the court of law.

Advanced Penetration Testing:  The EC-Council Certified Security Analyst E|CSA is the Second Course following the Certified Ethical Hacker. C|EH teaches the student methods and tools used by hackers while the E|CSA prepares students to conduct security assessments and complete Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Tests using industry leading methods, techniques, and tools. Students will learn how to design, secure and test networks to protect your organization from the threats hackers and crackers pose. By teaching the LPT methodology and ground breaking techniques for security and penetration testing, this class will help you perform the intensive assessments required to effectively identify and mitigate risks to the security of your infrastructure. As students learn to identify security problems, they also learn how to avoid and eliminate them, with the class providing complete coverage of analysis and network security-testing topics.

Disaster Recovery:  EC-Council’s Disaster Recovery Professional Training online through iClass prepares students for the E|DRP certification exam 312-76. The E|DRP course teaches you the methods in identifying vulnerabilities and takes appropriate countermeasures to prevent and mitigate failure risks for an organization. It also provides the networking professional with a foundation in disaster recovery principles, including preparation of a disaster recovery plan, assessment of risks in the enterprise, development of policies, and procedures, and understanding of the roles and relationships of various members of an organization, implementation of the plan, and recovering from a disaster.

Application Security:  EC-Councils Secure Coding Professional E|CSP is a cutting edge program delivered online through iClass teaching the fundamentals of Application Security and Secure Coding practices. EC-Council’s Certified Secure Programmer and Certified Secure Application Developer are being offered to provide the essential and fundamental skills to programmers and application developers in secure programming. The most prevalent reason behind buggy code and vulnerabilities being exploited by hackers and malicious code is the lack of adoption of secure coding practices. Certified Secure Programmer lays the basic foundation required by all application developers and development organizations to produce applications with greater stability and posing lesser security risks to the consumer. The Certified Secure Application Developer standardizes the knowledge base for application development by incorporating the best practices followed by experienced experts in the various domains.
